About the Canada Passport Photo (50 x 70 mm)
A Canadian passport photo is 50 mm wide and 70 mm high, with the head 31 to 36 mm from chin to crown, on a plain white or light background. It may be in colour or black and white.
Canada also asks that the photo is taken by a commercial photographer, who stamps the back, so use this one where a printed photo of that size is all you need.
Start from a recent photo taken straight on, in even daylight, with your whole face and the top of your hair in the picture, a neutral expression, eyes open and no glasses glare. The tool finds your face, replaces the background and scales your head to the rule; it never edits your face, since an official photo must show you as you are.
