About the India Post GDS Photo and Signature Resizer
India Post changed the GDS upload rules in July 2026, and the old portal with the 50 KB photo limit is no longer active. The photo is now a JPG of 30 KB to 100 KB, 320 x 400 pixels recommended, with a plain white or light background and your face filling 70 to 80% of it. Do not upload a selfie or a scan of a printed photo.
The signature is recommended at 300 x 120 pixels in black or blue pen on white paper. The notification allows up to 100 KB but the user manual says 50 KB, so the preset keeps it between 20 KB and 50 KB, which passes both.
