About the JEE Main Photo and Signature Resizer
The JEE Main 2027 bulletin asks for a colour photo with about 80% face, ears visible and no mask, against a white background, as a JPG between 10 KB and 200 KB, and a clearly legible signature as a JPG between 10 KB and 100 KB.
The old 4 KB to 30 KB signature limit from earlier years no longer applies, so pages that still quote it are out of date. A live photo is also taken during the application.
A clean signature on white paper is a very small file, often under the minimum. The tool then adds blank padding inside the JPG, so the picture stays the same and the file size passes the form's check.
